Position Overview:
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall operations and profitability of the hotel, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction, staff performance, and property management. Reporting to senior leadership, the GM oversees daily operations, implements strategic initiatives, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with company policies and local regulations. The role requires a strategic leader with strong business acumen, a guest-centric approach, exceptional team management skills and MICE experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management, Oversee daily operations across all departments, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
2. Guest Experience, Maintain a high standard of guest service, addressing guest complaints and feedback promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
3. Financial Management, Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure that financial targets are met.
4. Human Resources & Team Development, Recruit, train, and manage department heads and team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
5. Sales & Marketing, Drive Sales efforts across all market segments, corporate, MICE and leisure businesses in strong cooperation with our sales and revenue team
6. Compliance & Safety, Ensure that all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety, labor laws, and environmental standards.
7. Property Maintenance & Asset Management, Oversee regular maintenance, repair, and upgrade of facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet brand standards

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in hotel or resort management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Fluency in German and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is a plus).
• Strong financial acumen, understanding of P&L statements, budgeting, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of tourism and corporate event industry is a distinct advantage

The General Manager role may require flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the property’s operational needs.
